This is Oliver's Yr 10 career choice.

In year 10, for my work experience, I would like to go for a job involving computers in some way, not nessacellary something like Thomas Cook, but something like DTP or Programming. I have researched computer programming and have come up with:

The careers libary says the subject will need at least 5 good GCSE's in maths, the sciences and maybe English.

Also 2 A-levels in Maths and Science and maybe Computer Science too sweeten the deal.

The three letter reference for Computer programming is CAV.

It is a very well payed job (£20,000-£60,000), but it depends on how experienced you are and how qualified you are.

You need to be able to work in a team and be co-operative with others.

You need to be able to meet deadlines very well so school, home works and projects are good practice for that.

Thank you for taking the time to read my project and I hope it has inlightened you on the subject of Computer Programming as a job.
